My name is Riley Gellatly, and I am a grade 9 home schooling student and a member of the KWCHEA (Kitchener/Waterloo Christian Homeschooling Association) and the KW Scholars. My Team and I are on a mission to teach 10,000+ Kids (grades 4-8), Students (grade 9-Post Secondary) and Adults how to solve the Rubik’s Cube over the next few years and help to EMPOWER a generation of youth and all the adults that are brave enough to jump on board.
From the moment I learned how to solve the Rubik’s Cube I immediately thought that EVERY child should be taught this because of all the benefits it offers. I have come to realize that adults actually have more fear about the cube than most kids. So, adults need this program too, which is why we have created an additional two programs to support the older students (high school/college/university) and adults (parents/teachers/corporate workers).
The benefits include: improved my memory skills, problem solving skills, critical thinking skills, increased my confidence, expanded my social circles, and I feel empowered!
And I think the greatest gift it has given me is 'Hope'. Situations that once seem impossible (like solving the cube) are now possible! I would like nothing more than to share this gift of being able to solve one of the world’s most challenging puzzles with the students, teachers and caregivers, so that they too can receive the benefits it has to offer, and take that knowledge and empowerment and carry it forward for the rest of their lives.
My team and I have designed a program that will teach almost ANYONE how to solve the Rubik’s Cube in a FUN and interactive way. IT IS A PROVEN FORMULA, that has already successfully taught thousands of people!
We have one program packaged in three ways; the Elementary Edition, the Student Edition and the Corporate Edition. Our goal is to package and deliver this message in a way that will cater to all ages. Every edition includes instruction booklets, slide presentation, video demonstrations and printable Certificate of Completion.
Now, if you thought EMPOWERING people in this unique way is a GREAT idea, then you will be thrilled to know that I will be holding an online SUMMIT EVENT (TBA). All participating schools, groups and organizations (10,000+ people) will be coming together and solving the cube at the same time.
This endeavor is guaranteed to inspire, motivate, educate and help make this world a better place!
On behalf of my team and myself, we thank you for your interest, generosity if you are able to donate or sponsor, and we look forward to working with you if you are able to volunteer in one of the many ways by being part of our team.
Together we will be raising the bar of the emotional and intellectual levels of kids, youth and adults, to know they have the ability to make the right decisions for today and future generations to come.
